Let me just begin by first asking a simple question: how do you supposedly preach that you don’t understand yourself? Till you form yours thought on this, let me convey mine and let me tell you that what I thought of was simply “NO”. It is quite as clear as day to me that whatever we teach to others must first be fully understood by ourselves, and if it is not so, then we are not capable of satisfying the students. So here I will present to you another meaning that struck me when I was carrying on with my workout routine yesterday morning.
In my personal diary, I bring up this matter again regarding life, sometimes asking a question and sometimes answering those questions, and every time I try to compare life to many situations that a common man encounters.
Well, yesterday morning, I came up with this rather something came up to me. It was a comparison of how life is to be dealt with and the proper way of showing what life is worth.
Almost everyone has had this experience of going to a market. As a child, I, because of my parents, learnt to not cry for buying a new toy or a new dress or anything edible.
But inside me, that child is still awake after almost fifteen years, and I am kind of happy about it.
That child brings that urge back in me to buy the whole market, complete stores, though that is practically impossible and of no use either.
Especially when entering a superstore where everything is available but we have our eyes stuck on a single thing that we have come to buy. Isn’t it so? Mankind seems so focused at such moments. The reason to share this example is to pave a path to inculcate that idea in your mind and make the concept a lot easier. Let us say I entered the SUPERMARKET OF LIFE AND ALL THE THINGS TO BUY ARE THE THINGS THAT WE NEED TO SPEND OUR TIME (MONEY) ON, BUT WE HAVE TO CHOOSE BECAUSE WE DON’T HAVE AN INFINITY OF IT. It’s limited. If not spent wisely, we might end up having nothing of value and it is then too late till we realize that we spent our life on such objects or events or moments or people.
That thought that we normally have of having a limited amount of time and it can end anytime; we are not sure of how much worthy was that one object until we buy it, same is the case with our life.
People who understand the worth of time and don’t just waste their prime time are the ones that make up something out of it.
We keep hearing since childhood that TIME IS MONEY but we never actually understood it. It means that it is something that you don’t have control over its spending, but how you spend it matters and where you invest it matters as well. Your investment will pay you off or bankrupt you it’s all on what you decide.
Another thing that popped up along with it was this awesome and eye opening quote I once read somewhere. It went like this:-
YOU HAVE 24 HOURS. THE RICHEST MAN ON EARTH HAS 24 HOURS. THE POOREST PEOPLE HAVE 24 HOURS. THE DIFFERENCE IS HOW THEY DECIDE TO SPEND THEIR 24 HOURS AND THIS MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE.
People who spent their life the most important thing there is no waste in the end make themselves a waste as well. Those spend it with care, wisely and those who stay focused on something are the ones that turn out on top.
If you are thinking about how can it relate to a Dubai’s sheikh who spends aimlessly and allot. Well, my explanation is that even they are careful about what they do with their life and money.
The conclusion is simple that the only thing you have to keep in mind is that yours and mine time in this world is limited. We often forget that we are here for a short period and soon we will as well die.
Death is reality that you must make yourself fond of so that you may know be careful about it whenever you smoke, drink or even worse, WASTE TIME because all will bring impending death closer than ever and the only things you will have for yourself will be a bunch of regrets and the only thing you will get from others is sympathy. Take your time and think over this.
I am leaving you with this question that WHERE ARE YOU SPENDING YOUR TIME/LIFE/MONEY/CURRENCY?
